THE BLIND SERIES

Braille is moved from touch to sight and stripped of its original accessibility. The painted code becomes simultaneously present and unusable: a language transformed into an image of language.

The viewer’s frustration is not an accident but part of the work: language survives as form while meaning recedes.

A genealogy of concealment, mortality and failed communication.

FIXED

A long-running project built around the paradox of repair: a cut is opened and then visibly sutured. Rather than sharing the same commercial register as the current research, FIXED is presented here as a historical hinge — between rupture, concealment and the later problem of inaccessible language.

Presence / access

Marco Corridoni’s research investigates the threshold between presence and access: what happens when an image, a body or a language is visible but cannot be fully possessed.

Moving between hyperrealistic drawing, painting, mixed media and interventions on the surface, he constructs images that reveal and withdraw at the same time. Faces are covered, bodies interrupted, wounds sutured, and codes remain available to the eye while refusing comprehension.

Across earlier and recent works, the same tension returns through mortality, concealment, repair and failed communication. Technical precision is used not as an end in itself, but as a way to make absence materially convincing.
